Summer wakes you up in the morning as the producer/traffic and news reporter/commentator extraordinaire on The Dave Elliott Show Monday – Friday from 6-9am. Summer has been raised in Southwest Florida since she was 3 years old! She graduated from Florida Gulf Coast University with a B.A. in Journalism and a Bachelor of Music Education. She loves singing, dancing, acting, and playing piano and guitar. Summer has performed with several professional theaters in Southwest Florida including the Broadway Palm Dinner Theatre and Barbara B. Mann Performing Arts Hall. She has sung the national anthem for the Minnesota Twins, Boston Red Sox, Tampa Bay Rays, and Orlando Magic. She also performed at Carnegie Hall as part of the 2015 and 2016 Honors Performance Series.

Summer is currently pursuing her Master of Business Administration with a Leadership/Management concentration at Florida Gulf Coast University. When she’s not performing or studying, Summer enjoys reading mystery novels, watching crime documentaries on Netflix, and going to the beach! She has a passion for sharing news stories in Collier County and making a positive difference in the community. Catch you on the airwaves!
