CAPE CORAL, Fla. – A man was arrested after five people reported he approached them in a Cape Coral shopping center Friday.
Shamar White, 22, is facing charges of battery and indecent exposure after the bizarre crime spree, according to the Cape Coral Police Department.
Two victims reported White walked up to them in the Burlington Coat Factory store on Pine Island Road and grabbed them before smacking one in the face and pushing the other, an arrest report shows.
Two other victims told police the 22-year-old approached them at a Target store again grabbing one and trying to put his finger in the other’s mouth while saying vulgar things.
A fifth person reported White approached them at the Panara Bread parking lot and was holding a box knife while trying to get into the person’s vehicle. He then pulled out his genitals and started masturbating in front of the victim, investigators said.
Police found White outside of the Target store where he was arrested.
Four of the five victims decided to press charges against white.
He is facing three counts of battery and one count of exposure of sexual organs.
